Saturday, April 9 - we had an Easter egg painting party as Lexie's 2nd birthday. About 10 cute toddlers came to help celebrate Lexie's birthday. Each child had half a cartoon of white wooden eggs (I luckily found them at Hobby Lobby - can you imagine letting 2 year olds play with boiled eggs. . . .). We had washable paint, markers, and stickers to decorate them. Every child got their own smock with their initial on it.
After the eggs were finished, Dave got out the bounce house for the kids to jump in.
My parents, inlaws, and best friend were all able to make it for the party. It was such a fun day. I think all the kids had a fun time - I know the adults did. The weather couldn't have been more nice!
Party favor baskets - a stuff egg (when you unzip it, there is a stuffed rabbit inside), sidewalk chalk, saf-t-pop suckers, welch's fruit snacks, and "dress a bunny" stickers.Lexie's eggs that she painted
